ebay UK Query?
I have a spotting scope I might sell on ebay. I have some concerns though. The item cost me over £700. So I want to sell it for about £450.
Does ebay charge me to list the item, whether or not I sell it?
Do I have to accept returns? This puts me off, because I want to sell the thing, I don’t want it back. Also, if someone does buy it, and decide to return it, and I discover that the item has been damaged, either by the buyer, or in transit, what happens?
I really want to sell my product, I’m just not sure ebay is the right place to do it. Am I right in my notion that ebay is full of what I might consider junk, and not really a good place to buy and sell good quality items?
I also fear giving ebay my credit card details.
Please can someone answer my questions?

Ebay will charge a listing fee around $2-5 US and when the item sell they will take about 3-4% of the final sale price. You DONT have to accept any return if you dont want to and as far as damge while being shipped, just purchase shipping insurance for about $8-10 US.I have completed approx 200 Ebay transaction with Zero problems. Its a great place to buy new and used items.
