Can any Verizon or US Cellular phone become a prepaid phone?
I’m particularly looking at Rhythm for US Cellular or any Verizon phone. Can I buy a phone (yes I know it will cost much more without the 2-year agreement) and have it switched over to prepaid? I’ve heard it’s possible with Verizon but not with US Cellular.
Only verizon prepaid phones that support the prepaid billing format can do this. To find out if your phone will work, dial *611 on your verizon phone and speak to a customer service rep.
